Though her fellow Holiday Spirits could assist Mortals with belief in their different holidays, Holly, the Spirit of Christmas, was never given the opportunity. Instead, she was doomed to do nothing but write out the assignments for her siblings as they went to the Mortal Realm to fulfill their individual purposes under the cruel direction of Wren, the Spirit of Halloween. This changes when Holly sees a man struggling significantly with belief, not only in Christmas, but is wracked with constant torment of memories of Christmases past.
